Due to a planned Anglian Water road closure we're regrettably unable to serve Rectory Lane in West Winch (Coronation Avenue bus stops) or North Runcton village. The nearest alternative bus stops are on the A10 itself near to Rectory Lane or Middleton.
Please accept our apologies.
Affected Services:
Due to the closure of Castle Rising Road for Norfolk County Council toucan crossing construction works our service 35 is unable to serve its normal route for the lengthy closure period. During the closure period we're regrettably unable to serve the following locations:
- Castle Rising village (Church Lane and Church Crofts bus stops)
- Graywood House
- Priory Lane
- Oak Avenue
Buses will instead be diverting via the A149 and A148 (Grimston Road).
The nearest alternative bus stops for customers from South Wootton are located on Low Road near to Nursery Lane or Deas Road. The nearest alternative bus stops to Castle Rising village are on the A149 itself at Mill House Turn.
Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused but this closure is completely outside of our control.
Affected Services:
From Friday 15th to Sunday 17th August 2025 there will be disruption and diversions to several of our bus services due to the concerts taking place at Sandringham Estate:
Services 33 and 49 - These cannot serve Hillington village.
Service 35 - This will not serve West Newton or Sandringham at all and instead operate along the A149 between Castle Rising and Dersingham (same as the 34 and 36). Manor
Please also be aware that due to the large volume of traffic expected over the weekend there are likely to be delays on many of our other services too.
Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Affected Services:
From Monday 7th to Friday 11th July (between 0800 to 1700hrs only) there will be disruption to our service 46 buses due to the closure of the bridge at St Germans.
The following journeys will operate exactly as per normal as they are unaffected by the closure:
Outside of these times the road is closed and therefore our normal route 46 buses will be operating a diversion route missing all bus stops in St Germans village, Saddlebow village and Saddlebow Industrial Estate. To mitigate the disruption to our customers we will be operating a dedicated shuttle bus a certain times of the day to cover some of the busier journeys from St Germans and Saddlebow village as follows:

Affected Services:
From Monday 30th June to Thursday 3rd July there will be disruption to service 48 due to the closure of Lynn Road in Grimston for Anglian Water works.
The first service 48 of the day to King's Lynn from Harpley (normally 0714hrs) will instead commence at Great Massingham (opposite the Church) at 0708hrs and then continue northbound to Harpley, opposite Rose & Crown at (0711hrs).
The bus will then continue to via the A148 to Grimston clock to commence the normal route.
Service 48's during the day will operate the 'wrong' way around the Grimston & Pott Row loop in order to get to Grimston clock, reversing into "The Walnuts" to commence the normal route back to King's Lynn.
Affected Services:
Unfortunately due to the complex situation of two separate road closures on Walton Road (West Walton) and Lynn Road (Walton Highway) service 46/X46 has been subject to significant diversions, the situation here changes regularly (sometimes one road is open but not the other, sometimes both closed, etc!) so the latest update we can provide is as follows:
Friday 11th July - Neither West Walton or Walton Highway can be served.
Saturday 12th July to Wednesday 23rd July - West Walton village will be served as normal. Walton Highway still cannot be served.
We believe that from 24th July West Walton may not be accessible for two days once again (due to Walton Road being closed) but this will be confirmed nearer the time.
Please accept our apologies for this ongoing disruption, regrettably these closures are completely out of our control.
Affected Services:
Please be advised that there are various Pilgrimages taking place at Walsingham village throughout the year:
On these dates there will be disruption and diversions on our Coastliner 36 buses which means that the following locations cannot be served by us:
- East Barsham
- Houghton St Giles
- Walsingham Bull/Pump
During the closures the nearest alternative bus stops are located at Walsingham outside the Primary School (towards Fakenham) and opposite the Primary School (towards Wells-next-the-Sea).
Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused.
