Service 34 evening disruption

Due to the closure of the A149 between Castle Rising and Hardwick roundabout from (1900hrs to 0600hrs) please expect some delays to evening journeys on service 34, this is because of the additional time the diversion route (via Wootton Road) takes.

Wells-next-the-Sea, Buttlands bus stops

Wells-next-the-Sea disruption

From Weds 29th Nov until further notice we're unable to serve the full normal route in Wells-next-the-Sea on our Coastliner 36 route. This is due to an emergency road closure for Anglian Water work. 

As a result of this we cannot serve the stops at Mainsail Yard, The Quay or Northfield Lane.

The nearest alternative stop is located at The Buttlands.

Marham disruption

Due to Anglian Water works taking place between Tuesday 12th to Thursday 14th December our service 39 buses are unable to serve the full normal route. During the closure period buses will not be able to serve the following bus stops:

- Post Office

- Davamor

- Hillside 

Buses will instead be picking up at Villebois Road but they'll be serving Pine Avenue and Oak Avenue as normal.

Service 48 disruption and diversions

On Tuesday 12th December (0830 to 1400hrs only) due to a road closure for Anglian Water works between Gayton and Grimston our service 48 buses are unable to serve the full normal route. 

Regrettably, during the closure service 48 will be unable to serve the villages of Gayton, Ashwicken and Bawsey as buses will be diverting via The A149 and A148 to serve Grimston and Pott Row only. Service 49A will operate as per normal and thus will be the only route during the closure period that is able to serve this locations.

During the closure no buses are able to the bus stop at Lime Grove in Gayton, customers should therefore catch the 49A bus at the Crown Inn.

Burnham Overy Staithe disruption

From Monday 8th to Friday 19th January 2024 (inclusive) we are unable to serve Burnham Overy Staithe village on our Coastliner 36 service due to Norfolk County Council resurfacing works.

During the closure buses will be diverting via B1155 Wells Road and be stopping along this section of road as an alternative stopping location.

Houghton St Giles & East Barsham - Coastliner 36

On Thursday 21st December (0930 to 1530 only) Coastliner 36 buses are unable to serve the full normal route due to UKPN electrical works.

During the closure period buses are not able to serve Houghton St Giles, East Barsham and The Bull/The Pump bus stop in Walsingham. The nearest alternative bus stop will be at and opposite The Primary School in Walsingham.

Castle Rising and South Wootton disruption

From Wednesday 13th to Friday 15th December we're unable to serve Castle Rising village or Castle Rising Road on service 35, this is due to a road closure at Castle Rising village for Anglian Water works.

During the closure we cannot serve any stops in Castle Rising village, Gaywood House, Priory Lane or Oak Avenue as the bus will be diverting via the A149 and Knights Hill.
