Due to the closure of the A149 between Snettisham and Heacham for surface dressing works buses will be operating a diversion route (after 2000hrs only).
Due to the diversion we're regrettably unable to serve the stops at Snettisham Grapes or Heacham Bottom on the evenings during the closure.
Please accept our apologies.
Affected Services:
From Monday 12th to Friday 16th May (inclusive) there will be considerable disruption to service 49A due to two planned road closures in Great Massingham village.
Regrettably as a result of the closures Great Massingham cannot be served by our regular 49A buses, however we will be providing a limited shuttle bus service to provide key journeys to and from King’s Lynn as follows:

The first bus of the day from Great Massingham is the new regular service 48 bus, this regrettably cannot serve Harpley village as needs to commence from near the Fire Station in Great Massingham.
Whilst the road is closed our normal 49A buses will be diverting via the A148, Hillington and Grimston (Harpley can be served as per normal).
Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused but closures such as these are completely out of our control.
Affected Services:
Service 48 - It looks like Vong Lane in Pott Row is being resurfaced today. This may mean at some point buses are unable to get through, we would therefore advise that you catch the bus on Chapel Road or Gayton Road near St Botolph's Church.
We'll advise when the works are complete.
Affected Services:
Due to Norfolk County Council works at Gaywood clock our evening services on route 34 and 42 are unable to serve the following locations (after 1900hrs only):
- Kettlewell Lane
- St Katherines Court
- Highgate School
- Woolpack PH
- King Edward VII School
- Gaywood Tesco
- Gaywood Health Centre
- Kent Road
- Queensway
- Elvington Road
During the closure buses will be diverting via Hardwick.
Affected Services:
From Wednesday 14th to Friday 16th May we're unable to serve the full route on service 54 due to the closure of Station Road in Clenchwarton for Anglian Water works. Unfortunately during the closure period we cannot serve Clenchwarton or West Lynn village as the bus will be diverting via the A17.
Please accept our apologies.
Affected Services:
On Thursday 15th May (between 0930 to 1530hrs only) we're unable to serve the full normal route on service 46 due to the closure of Walton Road between West Walton and Wisbech.
Unfortunately during the closure period we cannot serve West Walton village or Walton Road in Wisbech.
The nearest alternative stops are located on Lynn Road near to and opposite the Highwayman PH in Walton Highway or Lynn Road/Waterlees Road in Wisbech.
Please accept our apologies.
Affected Services:
On Monday 5th May (Early May Bank Holiday) and Monday 26th May (Spring Bank Holiday) we'll be operating to our Sunday/Public Holiday times (routes 34, 35, Coastliner 36, 39, 42 and 48 only)
Affected Services:
Due to the closure of Burnt Street in Wells-next-the-Sea for Norfolk CC resurfacing works our Coastliner 36 buses will need to operate a diversion route missing out Burnt Street, Mill Lane and Buttlands in the town.
The nearest alternative bus stops are located at Standard Road near to Northfield Lane. Buses towards Hunstanton and King's Lynn will pick up opposite Northfield Lane and buses towards Fakenham will pick up adjacent to Northfield Lane.
School services 414 and 415 will drop off (AM) and pick up (PM) on Market Lane near Alderman Peel High School instead of the usual bus stops on Burnt Street.
Affected Services:
Please be advised that there are various Pilgrimages taking place at Walsingham village throughout the year:
On these dates there will be disruption and diversions on our Coastliner 36 buses which means that the following locations cannot be served by us:
- East Barsham
- Houghton St Giles
- Walsingham Bull/Pump
During the closures the nearest alternative bus stops are located at Walsingham outside the Primary School (towards Fakenham) and opposite the Primary School (towards Wells-next-the-Sea).
Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Affected Services:
From Monday 10th March until early May 2025 (exact finish date to be advised at a later date) no buses are able to serve the Railway Station forecourt in King's Lynn. This is due to Norfolk County Council Bus Service Improvement Plan (BSIP) works to improve this location for buses in the future.
The nearest alternative bus stops are located at King's Lynn Bus Station.
Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused.
