From Monday 17th to Friday 21st September (inclusive) and also from Monday 24th to Wednesday 26th September 2018 (inclusive) we’re not able to serve the normal route around Wells-next-the-Sea due to two separate road closures.
The closures (to connect one property to gas and another to water!) are likely to cause some delays to services and additionally mean that we're unable to serve many of the bus stops in the town that we normally do. The diversions are as follows:
Coastliner 36 from Fakenham towards Hunstanton & King's Lynn – This will enter Wells via Warham Road as per normal but then turn right onto Standard Road (serving the bus stop opposite Co-Op) and then continue towards the Quay and wait its time on the bus stop on Standard Road near Northfield Lane. The bus will then continue the normal route towards Hunstanton.
Coastliner 36 from Hunstanton towards Fakenham – This will enter Wells via the Quay as per normal then wait its time on the bus stop at Standard Road near Northfield Lane. The bus will then continue along Standard Road serving the Co-Op bus stop then turn left onto Warham Road and then the normal route towards Fakenham.
Service 414 (Alderman Peel High School bus) – The afternoon journey towards Dersingham will pick up on Burnt Street still but the opposite side of the road to what normally is the case.
From Tuesday 18th to Thursday 20th September (inclusive) we're unable to serve Burnham-Overy-Staithe village due to Anglian Water work near to the Hero PH. The nearest alternative bus stops will be in Burnham Market.
From Monday 24th to Friday 28th September (inclusive) we're unable to serve the bus stops in the centre of Little Walsingham near "The Shrine Shop". This is due to UK Power Networks electrical work. During the closure period the bus will divert via Blind Dicks Lane and the Coach Park.
From Wednesday 3rd October to Friday 5th October (inclusive) the A149 is closed at Thornham due to UK Power Networks electrical work. The bus will divert through the back of the village (Green Lane and The Green). This diversion may cause some minor delays to the service.
